Cinemagraphs Will Make A Comeback In Design For 2017

Design

According to How Design’s piece, “Predictions: 17 Things Coming in the Design World in 2017 by Roberto Blake, cinemagraphs will make a major comeback this year.

If you were wondering what a cinemagraph is, Tubefilter’s Joshua Cohen says it like it is, “Cinemagraphs are animated GIFs for adults…”

The term ‘cinemagraph’ was created by photographers Kevin Burg and Jamie Beck back in 2011 when they began using and experimenting with the technique. It is a fusion between a still photograph and a video, a static photo with a dynamic element which gives a highly artistic and creative touch to a visualization of a moment in time.

Look out for this new design trend which we are actually really excited for and hope will catch on!
